Swearing In of Newly Elected Officials
June 17th was the first day of the new term for the Nacogdoches County Republican Party. The newly elected officials were sworn in by County Court-at-Law Judge Jack Sinz. Welcome aboard!
We would like to also say thank you to those who have rotated off of the Executive committee, Ryan McClellan, John Branch, Gene Graves, Denise Lee, Rusty Lee, Rhonda Ward and Keith Payne and Sharron Graves. We appreciate you and your service!

Thanks to you we gave out 400 balloons, shared 500 TRUMP 2024 signs, registered 7 new voters. We also handed out numerous
More voter registration cards for people to take home, fill out and return to our Voter Registrar. We also had 61 people join our
roster for Party communications.

Virtual State Convention
Nacogdoches County Republican Delegates and Alternates to the Texas State Republican Convention gathered in person at The Fredonia Convention Center for the State’s “Virtual Convention” July 16 – 20,2020. We were joined by fellow participants from Angelina, Cherokee, Houston, Sabine and San Augustine Counties.
It was a great time of fellowship and hard work. In the end we were successful in all of our endeavors! We elected our choice in SREC Representatives for SD3. We also got 2 of our Delegates, Denise Lee and Colton Carney, elected as Alternates to the National Convention for CD1. And it is a new day for leadership at the top of the Republican Party of Texas. We were successful in electing Lt. Col. Allen West as our new State Chairman and Cat Parks from Hamilton County as our new State Vice Chairman.

The Nacogdoches Republican Party County Chair, Bradley Reynolds was sworn into office at the Courthouse Annex by County Judge Greg Sowell.

Precinct Chairs were sworn into office at the Courthouse Annex by County Judge Greg Sowell. Pictured are Gene Graves (26), Rhonda Ward (45), James Beene (16), Colton Carney (41), John R. McLaren (42), Denise Lee (33), Betty Houchin (12) and County Judge Greg Sowell. Unable to attend were Donna Finley (21), John Makow (46) and Keith Payne (47). These three will be sworn in at the first opportunity. All of these were re-elected as incumbents in the March Primary with the exception of Ms. Ward who was elected for the first time.
